• Why can I no longer book a particular category online?

  Once a category can no longer be booked, it is fully booked / no longer available. If you do not meet the minimum stay requirements for your request, the system will tell you that a higher number of nights is required for a booking.

• I can no longer book the Basic Tent Spot – can I book a Classic Pitch instead?

  Please always book the category that matches your setup, i.e. please book a Basic Tent Spot (up to 9m²) or a Comfort Pitch (up to 40m²) if you are arriving with a tent. Please do not book a different category in this case (e.g. Classic Pitch). If you have booked the wrong category and we no longer have any availability in that category, there is a risk that we will have to turn you away.

• How much does a night on a pitch / tent spot cost?

  Current prices for a stay from the minimum length of stay (3 to 5 nights) can be found on our website and via the booking portal.

• How do I enter add-ons (e.g. a car) in the booking?

  During the booking process, please enter only the number of add-ons, not the number of nights – i.e. if you are staying with us with a caravan for 3 nights, please enter only 1x car (not 3x), unless you are arriving with several cars. If you did not do this during the reservation, please contact us briefly by phone or email so that we can add the supplement to your reservation.

• The minimum stay is, for example, 2 nights. Is it possible to come for fewer nights?

  We require a minimum stay for each category for a reservation. For accommodation, these minimum stays also apply to walk-in guests without a reservation. Walk-in guests with a camper van / tent / caravan are welcome without a reservation for fewer days than the stated minimum stay. Please note that in this case there is no guarantee of a pitch being available.

• Can I book a specific pitch?

  During the booking process, you are welcome to enter a pitch preference in the comments field. We always do our best to fulfil this request, however we can never guarantee a specific pitch 100% due to occupancy, prior bookings, extensions, unforeseeable natural events, etc.

• We had to pay a deposit at the time of booking. When and how do I pay the remaining balance? Which payment methods are accepted?

  At the time of booking, your credit card is automatically charged with 25% of the total amount. Please pay the remaining balance on site at check-in by credit card or in cash.

• Do you still have pitches / accommodation available?

  As long as pitches / accommodation are still showing as available on our website, we still have free spaces. Please note that reservations for the current day are no longer possible. In this case you are considered a walk-in guest without a reservation and with no guarantee of a pitch.

• Can I arrive before 3 pm?

  Once a pitch is available in the morning, an early check-in is possible. In this case, you can access the pitch before 3 pm for a surcharge of CHF 15.-. For accommodation, this also depends on occupancy. Once the accommodation has been cleaned and checked, a check-in before 3 pm is also possible. This cannot be guaranteed in advance.

• Can I arrive by public transport?

  Of course! If you are staying in one of our rental accommodations, arriving by public transport is ideal. Lausanne train station is easy to reach by train and the campsite by metro and/or bus. Timetables can be found on sbb.ch.

  If you book your train tickets early, you can benefit from attractive saver fares. There is also the option of having your luggage transported by public transport within Switzerland.

• Can I park my car directly next to my tent (up to 9m²)?

  In most cases you can. However, during periods of high occupancy we reserve the right to ask you to park your car outside the campsite on our private car park.

• Can I bring my pet?

  We welcome all types of pets. Please register them during the booking process. Pets must also be kept on a leash at all times.

  If you wish to stay with your pet in an accommodation, this is subject to additional charges.

• We are one person more than the accommodation is designed for. Can the extra person still stay overnight in the accommodation?

  We are bound by fire safety regulations which state that our accommodations may only be occupied by the maximum number of persons they are designed for, i.e. an accommodation designed for 4 persons may not be occupied by 5 persons. This also applies to babies.

• What additional costs are there in the Lausanne tourism region?

  The rates for the visitor's tax in Lausanne are as follows: Hostel: CHF 5.00 per adult per night. Adults are defined as from 12 years of age.

• Are the showers charged separately?

  The showers are included in the price.

• Can I do my laundry with you?

  Our laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers available for you. The price per wash or drying cycle is CHF 6.-. The reservation of the washing machines and dryers as well as payment is handled directly via the WeWash app. You can download the WeWash app or register at www.we-wash.com.

• Where do I empty my chemical toilet?

  We have several chemical toilet disposal points. We will be happy to show you where these are located at check-in.

• How many vehicles may I park on a pitch?

  Only one vehicle is permitted per pitch – this can be a camper, van, caravan or motorhome.

• Am I allowed to put up an awning or a sunshade?

  Yes, one awning or sunshade per pitch is permitted.

• How many tents are permitted per pitch?

  One tent per pitch is permitted.

• I would like to put up an additional tent – what do I need to know?

  If there is already a tent on the pitch and you would like to place another one:

  a) If the second tent is larger than 9m², an additional pitch must be booked.

  b) If the second tent is smaller than 9m², a separate tent spot (Basic Tent Spot) must be booked. Please contact the reception team in advance so that they can review the request.

• Can I put up a tent in addition to my camper, van or motorhome?

  Yes, this is possible if the tent is smaller than 9m². For this we charge an additional CHF 9 per night. Please contact the reception team in advance so that they can review the request.

  If the tent is larger than 9m², an additional pitch must be booked.

• Why are there size restrictions for tents?

  So that all guests have enough space and comfort and safety on the campsite is ensured.
