General Camping Rules
Effective from the 2023 season
The purpose of these regulations is to facilitate the basic principles of camping at Camping Erlach, ensuring hygiene, cleanliness, general order, peace, and quiet for everyone. Every camper is responsible for strictly adhering to the following regulations and following the instructions of the hosts and their staff. Mutual respect among campers is of paramount importance.
1. Basic information
The campsite is exclusively for tourists. Taking up residence or staying for the purpose of providing any kind of work or services in the surrounding area is not permitted, even for the shortest period.
2. Check-in & Check-out times
a) Check-in and check-out times are as follows:
Camping pitches: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of departure
Rental accommodations: from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of departure
b) For arrivals after 8:00 PM, the operator must be notified by phone or in writing by the guest no later than 6:00 PM on the day of arrival; otherwise, the operator may freely dispose of the property.

3. Cancellations

4. Fees
Overnight stays by visitors are subject to a fee and must be registered with the campsite operator upon arrival. Additional costs include a per-person fee and tourist tax per night.
5. Campsite guests
a) At the campsite, all campers are treated equally, regardless of their status (tourist or seasonal camper), age, gender, religion, language, etc.
b) Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the sanitary facilities.
c) Bicycles, scooters, games, etc., are prohibited in and around the sanitary facilities.
d) Lost and found items must be handed in at reception and will be forwarded to the lost and found office of the local police.
6. Pitches
The prices quoted include one unit per parking space with a maximum extension that does not exceed the unit's footprint in either length or width. Additional units will be billed separately. Neighbors and property lines must be respected.
7. Rental accommodations
a) No cleaning is carried out during your stay. All rental accommodations are cleaned before check-in and again after check-out.
b) All rental accommodations must be left "broom clean" by the campers, with any bed linens removed and rubbish disposed of in the designated collection points. Any additional cleaning required will be charged to the campers (CHF 80 per hour or part thereof).
8. Choice of pitch
a) The campsite operator decides on the allocation of pitches. Reservation requests will be considered where possible.
b) Every camper is entitled to their assigned pitch and facilities after payment of the fees.
9. Noise and etiquette
a) The peace and quiet of your neighbors must be respected, especially between 12:00 and 13:30 and between 22:00 and 08:00.
b) The public facilities of the campsite and all rental accommodations are smoke-free and drug-free.
c) The ping-pong tables and the beach volleyball court are accessible from 08:00 to 22:00.
d) Noisy work is only permitted outside of peak season and on weekdays between 08:00 and 12:00 and between 13:30 and 17:00, in consultation with the campsite operator.
This is prohibited on Sundays, public holidays, and long weekends.
e) A zero-tolerance policy for bass music is in effect at all times on the campsite.
10. Waste
a) Waste must be disposed of in the appropriate containers at the collection points. Waste disposal is subject to a fee and may only be carried out between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Improper disposal of waste will be subject to a fine.
b) Special waste such as glass, paper/cardboard, aluminum, tin, PET, as well as green waste and bulky waste must be disposed of at your own expense at the municipal collection points or in the containers provided at the campsite.
c) If trash or other items are left behind, the campsite operator will charge the responsible party for the cleanup.
11. Cleanliness and order
a) All campers are expected to keep their pitches tidy. Mutual respect, cleanliness, and care in the use of all communal facilities (sanitary facilities, washrooms, lounge, etc.) and the campsite are expected.
b) Dishes may only be washed between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
c) Washing pet supplies, shoes, and carpets in the campsite's washing machines is strictly prohibited.
d) Campers are prohibited from using the sewer system for any waste. Wet wipes, sanitary napkins, tampons, oil, and bulky, foul-smelling, or clogging items must not be disposed of in the sewer system.
e) Wastewater and chemical toilets must be disposed of in the designated disposal points. These are shown on the site map.
f) Fish may only be cleaned in the designated area. Only the cleaned waste may be disposed of in the designated waste bin.
g) To protect waterways, collection basins must be placed under the caravan drains. No wastewater may be emptied onto the ground.
h) Repairs, oil changes, and washing vehicles are prohibited within the campsite.
12. Motor vehicles
a) Access is via a badge. A deposit of CHF 50 is required for the badge.
b) Between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM and between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM, driving within the campsite is prohibited. This also applies to arrivals and departures.
c) Driving on the campsite is permitted only at walking pace and briefly for arrivals, departures, and loading/unloading. Driving within the campsite is generally prohibited, as is playing loud music from your car stereo during arrivals and departures.
d) Electric vehicles may not be charged on the pitch.
13. Pets
a) Pets are allowed throughout the entire campsite, with the exception of the sanitary facilities, communal kitchen, reception, shop, lounges, beach area, and rental accommodations. Pets must not be left unattended. Owners are liable for any inconvenience caused by their pets' behavior.
b) A maximum of two pets are permitted per pitch. These must be kept on a short leash at all times while on the entire campsite. Pets must be taken outside the campsite to relieve themselves. All dog waste must be picked up with the provided bags and disposed of properly.
14. Protecting the environment; barbecues
a) Hedges, trees, and shrubs must not be damaged. Digging ditches is prohibited.
b) Open fires are only permitted in designated areas. Barbecuing is allowed on the pitch using approved and functioning gas, electric, and charcoal grills. Please be considerate of your neighbors regarding smoke. During dry periods, official fire bans must be observed.
c) The use of fire pits in front of rental units is exclusively permitted for their tenants.
d) Setting off fireworks, lighting open fires, making fires on the ground, and using disposable grills are strictly prohibited on the entire premises.
e) Slaughtering animals and other sacrificial ceremonies on and around the campsite are strictly prohibited.
15. Safety; gas inspection
All recreational vehicles and other gas-powered appliances must undergo regular gas inspections. These inspections must be carried out by a qualified expert at least every three years. The inspection sticker or equivalent foreign certificate must be clearly displayed on the outside of the vehicle, either at the entrance or on a window.
16. Liability
a) Campers and their visitors are liable for all damages they cause intentionally or through negligence. The campsite operator is not liable for theft, loss, or damage (e.g., fire or natural disasters) that campers, their facilities, or their visitors may suffer.
b) Any unusual incidents must be reported to the campsite operator immediately.
17. Conduct; rules and regulations
a) Only campsite staff, any security personnel called in on their behalf, and the authorities are authorized to give instructions on the campsite.
b) Presence on the campsite implies tacit acceptance of the campsite rules and any applicable public regulations of the municipality of Erlach.
c) Anyone who violates the rules of order, quiet, cleanliness, mutual respect, decency, and good manners will be asked to leave the campsite after a warning. Any camping fees already paid will not be refunded.
18. Applicable law
The law of the Swiss Confederation applies.
19. Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is Erlach.
