Morning: Let the children burn off some energy on the campsite's private playground, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Staubbach Falls, which plunge almost 300 metres into the valley below. It's a natural wonder that sparks the imagination.

Midday / Afternoon: For children aged around five and up, a visit to the Trümmelbach Falls is a true highlight. A tunnel lift takes visitors deep inside the mountain, where powerful glacier waterfalls thunder through narrow rock gorges. Loud, cool, and impressive, this natural spectacle is safely accessible thanks to walkways, railings, and viewing platforms. It's an unforgettable adventure for young explorers.

Alternative for younger children: Take a peaceful walk along the valley trail toward Stechelberg. The path is flat, stroller-friendly, and passes cow pastures, small streams, and charming wooden chalets. Along the route you'll find many picnic and barbecue spots with views of several waterfalls.

After your walk or your visit to Trümmelbach Falls, simply take the local post bus back. The easiest stop is Schützenbach, directly opposite the campsite. Cross the White Lütschine River and you'll be back at your pitch or rental accommodation.

Day 2: Playtime and Panoramas in Mürren & Allmendhubel

Today it's time to head into the mountains and discover a car-free world of fresh alpine air and breathtaking views.

The journey itself is a highlight. From Stechelberg, take the world's steepest aerial cable car up toward Mürren. Children will love the spectacular views down into the Lauterbrunnen Valley and across the dramatic cliff faces.

Once in Mürren, continue by funicular railway to Allmendhubel, home to the imaginative Flower Park Alpine Playground. Here, children can climb, balance, zoom down flower-themed slides, and crawl through edelweiss tunnels. All of this is set within colourful alpine meadows with magnificent views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks.

Picnic areas and a sun terrace with deck chairs also make this a relaxing destination for parents.

If you're in the mood for a walk, hike the family-friendly panoramic trail from Mürren to Grütschalp. From there, a cable car brings you back into the valley. Alternatively, simply return to Lauterbrunnen by train and bus.

Day 3: Summit Views from Harder Kulm

A day trip to Interlaken adds some variety to your mountain adventure and combines town life with spectacular alpine scenery.

The train ride from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken along the White Lütschine River is beautiful in itself. Once there, take the funicular railway to Harder Kulm, Interlaken's local mountain.

The ride only takes a few minutes. At the top, you'll enjoy stunning views of Lake Brienz, Lake Thun, the entire Jungfrau mountain range, and the valley below. The famous Two Lakes Bridge, complete with a glass viewing platform, offers an exciting thrill for both children and adults.

Just above the panoramic restaurant you'll find a beautifully designed panorama playground at 1,300 metres above sea level. Slides, climbing structures, and swings provide plenty of fun, all with incredible mountain views.

After returning to town, spend some time exploring Interlaken. Children can play on the large lawns of Höhematte Park while watching paragliders land nearby.

Animal lovers should visit the small Alpine Wildlife Park next to the Harder Railway station. Marmots, deer, and ibex can be observed here. The park is open daily and admission is free, although donations are appreciated.

Day 4: Hiking with Lieselotte

Today is perfect for young hikers and animal lovers.

Take the train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, a charming village with nostalgic alpine character. From there, continue by gondola to Männlichen, high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

The Lieselotte Trail is an interactive themed path inspired by the beloved storybook cow. Along the route, children can solve riddles, take photos at dedicated stations, practice balancing skills, explore chicken houses, and enjoy many other playful activities.

Suitable for children aged three and above, the trail is not suitable for strollers. A restaurant is available at the starting point, and two picnic areas with barbecue facilities are located along the route. Firewood is provided.

At the Männlichen mountain station you'll also find the spacious Sennen Playground, featuring climbing structures, water play elements, and a miniature farm setting. The highlight is a giant wooden cow measuring 8.5 metres high and 13 metres long.

Parents can comfortably watch the children from the terrace of the mountain restaurant overlooking the playground.

Afterwards, return to Lauterbrunnen by gondola and mountain railway.

Day 5: Sulwald & Monster Scooter Adventure

Your final day can be either action-packed or wonderfully relaxing.

Start by taking the post bus to Isenfluh, a quiet mountain village. From there, a small nostalgic cable car takes you up to Sulwald. Operating since 1975, the little cable car accommodates eight passengers, or even a cow. Many locals claim the views of the famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks are at their very best from here.

For children aged around ten and older, as well as adults, the highlight is the Monster Scooter ride. These oversized scooters with wide tyres allow you to glide down the winding mountain road back to Isenfluh. Helmets are available on site. It's fast-paced, safe, and enormous fun.

If you'd rather enjoy a slower pace, relax with a drink on Sulwald's panoramic terrace and return to the valley by cable car.
