Our commitment to preserving nature for future generations

  • ibex fairstay certification

    Three of our campsites were the first in Switzerland to be awarded the ibex fairstay label, the sustainability certification in the lodging industry.

  • Climate friendly websites

    The campgrounds’ websites are more environmentally friendly than 70% of traditional websites and powered by sustainable energy.

  • Local products and supplies

    We work with local suppliers to source products and produce for our campsites’ restaurants and stores.

  • Recycling points

    At each campsite there are appropriate provisions to properly dispose of various materials and waste at each campsite, including gray and black water. 

  • Renovation instead of demolition

    To make rental accommodation shine again, we work with local craftsmen and use existing materials, such as wood, for our renovations.

Camping Jungfrau - Fox Cabin: Loving renovation instead of demolition. These charming wooden cabins have been repositioned on the campsite and renovated with local craftsmen. Small terraces were also built from existing wood for a more pleasant stay.

Camping Erlach - Shop: The store's assortment has been carefully reduced and stocked with local products, such as local wine and fresh meat from the region.

Camping Jungfrau - Fox Cabin interior: The Fox Cabinswith bunk beds for 4 people became a cozy cabin with two single beds. The modern wooden furnishings and light colors combine hotel room comfort with camping feeling.

Camping Erlach - Strandchuchi Take-Away: The old temporary food truck on worn grass mats was replaced by the fixed, modern Strandchuchi on new wooden flooring.

Camping Jungfrau - Reception: The reception shows itself after the renovation with more muted colors and more wood . In addition, the conversion created a private office behind the chalkboard to work undisturbed.

Camping Jungfrau - Sanitary facilities: The sanitary facilities, which were getting on in years, have been generously renovated. The modern design, the strong colors and the cleanliness of the facilities inspire camping guests.
